Our Commitment to the Health of Cocker Spaniels
One of the things we are passionate about is the health of our Cocker Spaniels in current and future generations. Today, we research the health records of the ancestors of dogs before we breed them. We pay to have our dogs tested for hereditary health problems and catalog the results. Genetic testing is the future for avoiding hereditary health problems. The American Spaniel Club Foundation is sponsoring research into genetic testing for cataracts. The research is making good progress and we need to continue funding it. You can learn more about it on the ASC Foundation's website.
